CAPITAL MURDER APPEAL: A Pittsylvania County woman will appear in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit on Tuesday to appeal her capital murder conviction. According to the court’s Web site, the appearance will focus on habeas corpus and “numerous issues arising out of state capital murder conviction and sentencing.“ Teresa Lewis was convicted of hiring two men to kill her husband and stepson in 2002.
