I didn’t know we didn’t print that
I often tell my kids that there are some things in this world we can fix, and some things we cannot. I say that because it’s true — and because I want them to understand the difference between the little things and the big things.
Take, for example, the Danville Register & Bee’s TV listings. Truth be told, I never look at them because I use the on-screen channel guide when I’m looking for something to watch. But some of our readers have complained that we didn’t list Fox News.
Fox News? How in the world did cable TV’s most popular news network get left out of our TV listings grid? I have no idea, and for that matter, I really don’t care. Once I learned that Fox wasn’t in the grid, the next step was to get it in the grid — even if another channel had to be bumped to make room for it.
So, that’s what we’re doing. We’re adding Fox News to our TV grid — finally — and bumping Spike. Sorry, Spike, but you had to go to make room for Fox.
It was something I could fix, and did.
