Who needs the Internet, e-mail or even accounts with Twitter and Facebook when you can cut something out of the newspaper, highlight the parts you disagree with, spice things up with your own views and then mail it all in to yours truly?

Here at the Danville Register & Bee, we use many of the same kinds of communications technology you use — the Internet, cell phones and laptops. That equipment not only helps us do our jobs better, it has liberated us from having to be in our newsroom to report the news
