How in the world did cable TV’s most popular news network get left out of our TV listings grid? I have no idea, and for that matter, I really don’t care. Once I learned that Fox wasn’t in the grid, the next step was to get it in the grid — even if another channel had to be bumped to make room for it

I like the idea of our readers challenging our coverage of the stories that matter to the Dan River Region. Staff-written stories in the Danville Register & Bee include the reporter’s byline, their telephone number and their e-mail address. The purpose of printing that information every day with every story is that we want our readers to contact our reporters.
